Prepare to be enchanted, West Coast Muggles.

The Wizarding World of Harry Potter will begin casting spells on visitors to Universal Studios Hollywood on April 7, 2016, NBC Universal announced Tuesday.

The beloved characters, magical creatures and evil Death Eaters are set to be transported from the pages of J.K. Rowling‘s best-selling books and the Warner Bros. films to the California theme park in a new immersive experience.

While the news wasn’t delivered by a Hippogriff or a fire-breathing dragon, details of the grand opening were revealed by one of Hogwarts quirkiest students, Luna Lovegood (a.k.a. actress Evanna Lynch.)

Similar to sister parks in Orlando, Florida and Osaka, Japan, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter in Hollywood will feature rides including the Flight of the Hippogriff roller coaster and the Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey attraction, where visitors will sport Quidditch-inspired 3-D goggles while pivoting 360-degrees on an elevated track.

In the quaint village of Hogsmeade — complete with cobbled streets and fake snow — guests can spend their magical money at eight retail favorites, including Honeydukes, Ollivanders, Owl Post, Zonko’s Joke Shop, Wiseacre’s Wizarding Equipment, Dervish and Banges, Gladrags Wizardwear and Filch’s Emporium of Confiscated Goods.
