“Wonder Woman 1984” Director Patty Jenkins has revealed the first look of Kristen Wiig as Barbara Minerva aka the villainous Cheetah.

“Enter Barbara Minerva,” tweeted director Patty Jenkins.

Cheetah is the name of several enemies of Wonder Woman, who have appeared in DC Comics since 1943. The current version is Barbara Ann Minerva, a superpowered woman with werewolf-like powers, who debuted in 1987.

“Wonder Woman 1984,” is in production with a planned release in late-2019. So far, a couple of official shots have been shared from the set, including one of Diana Prince herself out of costume as well as a surprising image of the first film’s love interest, Steve Trevor, who we thought died at the end of that movie.

“Wonder Woman 1984” brings back Patty Jenkins as director and co-writer. Gal Gadot is starring, along with Chris Pine as Steve Trevor again. Other details are largely still under wraps.

The movie is set for release on Nov. 1, 2019 via DC/WarnerMedia.
