Woody Allen’s Amazon Series ‘Crisis in Six Scenes’ Finally Drops a Full Trailer (Video)

Preview shows off plenty of Miley Cyrus

Woody Allen‘s Amazon series has finally released a full trailer, mere weeks before its debut.

The highly anticipated “Crisis in Six Scenes” shared quite a number of scenes packed into a two-minute, 14-second preview, which made it to the web on Wednesday. The video features plenty of Allen, Miley Cyrus, political protests, black panthers and marital strife — all set against the backdrop of the trying 1960s.

Watch the trailer above. Previously, “Crisis” released an extended look at Allen’s character trading jabs with his barber; check that scene out here — it’s classic Woody.

The romantic comedy, which was shot last year in New York and Los Angeles, takes place during a particularly turbulent time in the U.S. The series centers around a middle class suburban family that is visited by a guest who turns their household completely upside down, per the streaming company’s official synopsis.

“Crisis in Six Scenes,” which didn’t even have a title until last month, comes to Amazon Video on September 30. The six half-hour episodes also star Elaine May, while Rachel Brosnahan and John Magaro will recur as guests.

The show is executive produced by Erika Aronson and produced by Helen Robin. Allen directs and writes.
