AXS TV has renewed “The World’s Greatest Tribute Bands” for Season 6, TheWrap has learned. For this run, the show will move to Wednesday nights at 10 p.m. and will remain live and at home in Hollywood’s Whisky A Go Go.
Host and producer Katie Daryl is back as well, and she has curated a lineup featuring 10 top tribute bands this season that will perform memorable tunes from some of the most iconic artists in history. “This season we are truly embracing the Sunset Strip experience by paying tribute to many of the artists who called the Whisky A Go Go home and cemented its place in music history,” Daryl told us. “Our lineup this season rocks through four decades of hits and those who tune in will be amazed as these incredible songs come to life on ‘The World’s Greatest Tribute Bands.’”
