WWE superstar Jeff Hardy is under review at the wrestling organization after being arrested Saturday night for DWI following a car crash.

The wrestler hit a guardrail in Concord, North Carolina, according to a police report obtained by TheWrap. Hardy submitted to a breathalyzer test and blew a 0.25 — more than three times the legal limit — and was arrested for misdemeanor DWI. He has been scheduled for a court appearance on April 16.

“Jeff Hardy is responsible for his own personal actions,” a spokesperson for WWE said in a statement to TheWrap. “We are investigating the matter and awaiting information from local law enforcement officials.”

To make matters worse for Hardy, his brother Matt Hardy — the other half of WWE’s “Hardy Boyz” duo — sent our a rather poorly-timed, or possibly shade-filled, tweet on Sunday night.

“EVAH since the #7Deities have come to me, I do not put alcohol, drugs, or foreign substances into my VESSEL. I AM MORE,” Matt Hardy wrote.

Hardy has been out of the wrestling game since September due to a torn rotator cuff injury. He has two WWE Wellness Policy violations to his name, which carried over when he returned to the organization in 2017. A third policy violation would result in his termination, that would only apply if he tested positive for substances that violate the Wellness Policy, “other than marijuana and alcohol.”
