Yahoo is continuing its digital push with its new DIY digital magazine.
Editor in chief Katie Brown announced the new digital offering this morning that aims to inspire, entertain and educate home-improvement enthusiasts. The magazines features design trends on a budget, step-by-step decor improvements, wearable crafts and simple projects for children.
Video is also a key part with three new series: household problem-solving guide “Daily Made,” “Home Made” for crafting trips, and “Katie Made” to highlight Brown’s projects.
“Yahoo DIY isn’t about perfection,” Brown wrote. “We will be working alongside you as you take on projects and explore your creativity. My goal is to create a homebase where you can find simple tips and step-by-step guides to make your aspirational projects doable.”
The DIY digital is Yahoo’s eight digital offering; food, tech, travel, movies, health, beauty and style have their own spaces.
