Hello again, “You”: Netflix has renewed its stalker-thriller series starring Penn Badgley for a third season, the streaming service announced Tuesday.
Badgley and Victoria Pedretti will reprise their roles as Joe and his love interest, Love Quinn, respectively for Season 3, which will consist of 10 episodes (just like the second season) and launch in 2021, according to Netflix. Additional casting news will be announced at a later date.

In the second season, Joe Goldberg (Badgley) moves from New York to Los Angeles to escape his past, and starts over with a new identity. Fresh out of an intense relationship that ended in murder, the last thing he expects is to meet an incredible new woman but he’s falling in love again — with a woman named Love (Pedretti). Is history repeating? Or will this time be the real thing? Joe’s just crazy enough to risk finding out.
“You,” which aired its first season on Lifetime before being picked up by Netflix for its second, is based on the books “You” and “Hidden Bodies” by Caroline Kepnes and was developed for television by co-creators Sera Gamble and Greg Berlanti. Both Gamble and Berlanti will return as the shows executive producers for Season 3, with Gamble continuing to serve as showrunner.
The series hails from Berlanti Productions and Alloy Entertainment in association with Warner Horizon Scripted Television. Along with Berlanti and Gamble, other executive producers include Sarah Schechter, Leslie Morgenstein, Gina Girolamo, Silver Tree, Michael Foley and Justin Lo.
