“Young and the Restless” actor Corey Sligh was recovering Sunday after being attacked on Thanksgiving in Los Angeles.

Sligh, 27, who has played a bartender and waiter on the CBS soap, was with his girlfriend, actress Alisa Berhorst, when the attack happened.

They were outside a Rite Aid and on their way to deliver a Thanksgiving meal to a friend when a suspected drunk driver beat Sligh up, according Los Angeles television station KCBS.

The actor and model, suffered multiple injuries, including a broken arm after he asked the driver to slow down in the Rite Aid parking lot.

Sligh’s girlfriend told KCBS they noticed two men speeding and doing donuts in the parking lot, and Sligh told them “please slow down or we’re gonna call the cops, just go home,” Berhorst said.

The two men then apparently hit Sligh with their car, and got out of the vehicle and began beating him. Sligh was treated for his injuries at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.

The two men in the vehicle reportedly fled the scene, but were arrested nearby after they crashed their car. A witness who followed the pair, helped police track the suspects down.
