Zach Galifianakis Plays a Yeti Called ‘Susan’ in ‘Missing Link’ Trailer (Video)

Latest animated film from Laika Studios opens April 12

They’ve been known as “Bigfoot,” “Sasquatch” and “Yeti,” but in “Missing Link,” you will come to know them as … “Susan.”

The latest trailer for “Missing Link,” the next film from the stop motion animation studio Laika that brought you “Kubo and the Two Strings,” features Zach Galifianakis as a monster who teams up with an explorer (Hugh Jackman) in order to track down another monster that Susan may be related to on the other side of the world.

In this new look at the film, the explorers come across the mythical paradise of Shangri-La, as guarded by another monster voiced by Emma Thompson.

“We call it [roars],” she says in the trailer. It means, “Keep out. We hate you.”

Along with the new trailer, you can also play a new game on any Amazon Alexa device. “Missing Link Adventures,” which you can enable here, is an interactive audio story for children designed to teach them about bravery, kindness and fitness.

Zoe Saldana and Timothy Olyphant also lend their voices to the film. “Missing Link” is directed by Chris Butler, who previously directed “ParaNorman.” And it’s produced by Arianne Sutner and Travis Knight, who just directed the “Transformers” spinoff “Bumblebee.”

“Missing Link” opens in theaters on April 12. Watch the new trailer for the film below.
