CBS saw its “Zoo” attendance drop by double digits on Tuesday versus last summer’s series premiere, as NBC dominated the night with “America’s Got Talent” and more Olympic swimming trial finals.

In the 9 p.m. hour, “Zoo” shed 33 percent of last year’s total viewers, with a 25 percent decline coming from the key 18-49 demographic. The show’s 2015 premiere was just the one hour, while last night ran two — and at 10 o’clock, “Zoo” slipped even further.

At least “Zoo” was up in total viewers from last summer’s season finale; it was flat in the main demo.

NBC was first in ratings with a 2.0 rating/8 share in the advertiser-coveted 18-49 demographic and in total viewers with an average of 9.3 million, according to preliminary numbers. The swimming competition at 8 p.m. ET received a 1.3/5 and 5.8 million viewers. At 9, “AGT” scored a 2.4/9 and 11 million total viewers.

ABC and CBS tied for second in ratings, both with a 0.9. The Disney broadcaster had a 4 share, while CBS got a 3. CBS was second in total viewers with 6 million, ABC was third with 3.6 million.

For CBS, after a repeat, the two-hour “Zoo” put up a 0.9/3 and 5.1 million viewers.

Fox and Univision tied for fourth in ratings, both with a 0.7/3. Fox was fourth in total viewers with 2.3 million, Univision was fifth with 2 million.
