Zsa Zsa Gabor has been hospitalized in Los Angeles and will undergo a partial leg amputation, according to multiple news reports.
The 93-year-old actress had a lesion examined by doctors on Sunday, and was admitted to Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center for surgery, according to the Associated Press.
Gabor has long battled health problems. In July, she broke her hip. According to the news service, Gabor asked for last rites in August. She was hospitalized again in November with a swollen leg.
Her husband, Frederic Prinz von Anhalt, told Reuters that doctors warned gangrene would set in if Gabor did not have surgery, and that her leg would be amputated below the knee.
