’90 Day Fiancé’: Brett’s Bestie Sizes Up Daya (Exclusive Video)

The Philippine native gets the shock of a lifetime when she meets her fiancé’s BFF on TLC reality show

It’s a known fact in the dating world: Get your fiancé’s friends to like you, and you’re golden.

That’s what Daya was hoping for when she met Brett’s bestie, Sue, on “90 Day Fiancé.” But things don’t quite work out as well as Daya had hoped.

In TheWrap‘s exclusive video, airing Sunday on TLC, Sue tells Daya, “I heard so much about you.” To which Daya answers, “I really hope it’s good stuff.”

But instead of the obligatory, “Of course,” Daya gets nothing in return.

Nada. Zilch. Bupkis.

Sue just stands there smiling while crickets sound off in the background.

Sue then decides to take Daya for a walk so they can get to know each other better.

That’s when things take a left turn, right into crazy-town.

“I feel like I just need to speak my piece,” Sue tells Daya. “I was working in an Asian-dominated culture and I was sad to see one thing because they all married white men through the service and different things and the majority of all of them had divorced their husbands.”

As you can imagine, the look on Daya’s face is priceless.

You can see her reaction by watching the video.

The TLC reality show follows six couples made up of Americans who brought their foreign-born girlfriends or boyfriends to the U.S. on a K-1 visa. But there’s a catch: The couple must get married in 90 days. If they don’t, the foreign-born fiancé or fiancée risks getting shipped back home.

“90 Day Fiancé” airs Sundays at 9 p.m. ET.
