Watch ‘Breaking Bad’ Star in First-Time Burglar Indie Comedy ‘A Bad Idea Gone Wrong’ (Exclusive Video)

Film to premiere at SXSW this Saturday

First-time burglars are accident prone. But these guys are also a whole lot more polite than your average criminal.

TheWrap has been given the first look at Indie Comedy “A Bad Idea Gone Wrong.” Watch the clip above and see how ‘Breaking Bad” alum Matt L. Jones and “Bridge of Spies” actor Will Rogers bumbling as they break into a house and set off the alarm.

Also with Eleanore Pienta, the film will have its world premiere at the upcoming 2017 SXSW Festival this Saturday, March 11.

Marlon (Jones) and Leo (Rogers) are aspiring thieves poised for their very first score. The problem is they have no idea what they’re doing. After breaking into a fancy house in a gated community, they accidentally arm the alarm system, so they have to break out of the house they just broke into. When they discover an unexpected housesitter, they suddenly have to deal with a hostage situation, double crosses, sexual tensions, and discoveries that make their difficult escape even more dubious.

‘A Bad Idea Gone Wrong’ is written and directed by Jason Headley. The film is a Red Entertainment production in association with Ten Acre Films and produced by Red Sanders, Jonathan Duffy, and Kelly Williams and co-produced by Derek Brown. Cinematography by Nathan Smith. Edited by Tim Fender. Music by Alex Cuervo.

Jones stars in the Allison Janney sitcom “Mom” and played Brandon “Badger” Mayhew on “Breaking Bad.”

Headley has directed several short films, including “Fu– That: A Guided Meditation” and “It’s Not About the Nail.” He’s also been commissioned by Heineken, Sony and Chrysler to write, direct and produce original shorts.
