“American Ninja Warrior” is still kicking ass, handing NBC a Monday win in both the key 18-49 demographic and total viewers.

ABC finished in second place overall, despite a 33-percent demo decline from last week’s debut of drama “The Whispers.”

NBC was first in ratings with a 1.7 rating/6 share in the advertiser-coveted 18-49 demographic and in total viewers with an average of 5.8 million, according to preliminary numbers. “American Ninja Warrior” at 8 p.m. earned a 2.0/7 and 6.8 million viewers — both highs on the night. “The Island” at 10 had a 1.2/4 and 3.8 million viewers.

ABC was second in ratings with a 1.5/5 and in viewers with 5.6 million. “The Bachelorette” at 8 received a 1.8/6 and 6.3 million viewers. “The Whispers” at 10 had a 1.0/3 and 4.3 million viewers.

Fox was third in ratings with a 1.1/4 and fourth in viewers with 3.7 million. “So You Think You Can Dance” at 8 was the only show on the primetime schedule.

CBS was fourth in ratings with a 0.9/3 and third in viewers with 5.1 million, airing entirely reruns.

Univision was fifth in ratings with a 0.8/3 and in viewers with 2.3 million.

Telemundo was sixth in ratings with a 0.5/2 and in viewers with 1.4 million.

The CW was seventh in ratings with a 0.2/1 and in viewers with 567,000, airing just repeats.
