Robert Redford also continues big-screen comeback as a member of S.H.I.E.L.D.
The first full trailer for Marvel's “Captain America: The Winter Soldier” gives audiences a glimpse at Anthony Mackie flying into action as the Falcon, as well as Robert Redford's role in the sequel to “The First Avenger.”
Directors Anthony and Joe Russo's version of the Falcon takes advantage of some metal wings to soar through the sky while firing bullets at bad guys.
Redford, who stars opposite Chris Evans, plays senior S.H.I.E.L.D. member Alexander Pierce — and he may or may not be sticking the titular assasin on Steve Rogers as part of a massive conspiracy.
“Captain, to build a better world, sometimes means to tear the old one down,” Redford ominously tells Evans in the preview.
Scarlett Johansson returns to partner up with Evans as the Black Widow, while Samuel L. Jackson appears to be a major presence as Nick Fury, who is targeted by new threat, the Winter Soldier (Sebastian Stan)
“Captain America” returns to theaters on April 4.
