DreamWorks Animation has hired veteran home entertainment executive Kelley Avery to the newly created position of worldwide head of franchise strategy and distribution.
Avery will oversee DreamWorks’ existing home entertainment business, as well as distribution of content over emerging digital platforms.
She previously served as president of Paramount Home Entertainment, a job she left last spring. Prior to that, however, she headed home entertainment for DreamWorks SKG prior to its merger with Paramount.
