Lauren Bushnell, who received the final rose on Ben Higgins’ season of “The Bachelor” last year, is closely watching Nick Viall’s journey to find love — but who is she rooting for to win?
“I love Rachel, although we all know she’s the next ‘Bachelorette’ and does not win Nick’s heart,” Bushnell told TheWrap. “I think Vanessa is gorgeous and a strong woman so I’m pulling for her. I think Nick’s top three are all great though! I mostly just want Raven’s voice.”
Bushnell is engaged to former “Bachelor” Higgins, who picked her instead of JoJo Fletcher. Fletcher went on to become “The Bachelorette” and ended up engaged to Jordan Rodgers.
Viall’s season is nearing the end as Monday’s episode will feature his remaining overnight dates with contestants Vanessa Grimaldi and Rachel Lindsay after his date with Raven Gates last week. Lindsay was announced as the next “Bachelorette” last month — before she was even eliminated from Viall’s season.
Corinne Olympios was booted last week, which left Grimaldi, Lindsay and Gates in the game. Given that Lindsay is the next “Bachelorette,” it’s a safe bet it will come down to Grimaldi and Gates as the show comes to a close.
Monday’s episode will also feature the popular “Women Tell All,” where all contestants that Viall had sent home throughout the season will return to discuss what happened. At the forefront will be Olympios’ relationship with Taylor Nolan — the two had multiple confrontations before Nolan was sent home on January 30.
“The Bachelor” airs at 8 p.m. on ABC.
