Monday’s primetime crown went to NBC, despite “The Bachelorette” besting “American Ninja Warrior” head-to-head. That’s because “Spartan: Ultimate Team Challenge” and 10 p.m. crushed the weak “Still Star-Crossed” in their hour.
NBC was first in ratings with a 1.4 rating/6 share in the advertiser-coveted 18-49 demographic and in total viewers with an average of 5.4 million, according to preliminary numbers. “Ninja Warrior” at 8 landed a 1.5/6 and 5.8 million viewers. At 10, “Spartan” posted a 1.2/5 and 4.5 million viewers.
ABC was second in ratings with a 1.2/5 and in viewers with 4.5 million. “The Bachelorette” at 8 earned a 1.6/6 and 5.9 million viewers.
Fox was third in ratings with a 0.8/3 and fourth in viewers with 2.9 million. “So You Think You Can Dance” at 8 had a 0.9/4 and 3.3 million viewers. At 9, “Superhuman” got a 0.7/3 and 2.5 million viewers.
CBS and Univision tied for fourth in ratings, both with a 0.6/2. CBS was third in total viewers with 4 million, airing all reruns; Univision was fifth with 1.6 million.
Telemundo was sixth in ratings with a 0.4/2 and in viewers with 1.12 million.
