“Man of Steel” star Michael Shannon is “so utterly unconcerned with the outcome” of “Batman v Superman.”

“So profoundly, utterly unconcerned,” he told Vulture when asked which superhero would win in a fight. “I can’t even come up with a fake answer.”

However, if the actor who played bad guy General Zod absolutely had to choose, he would vote for Henry Cavill‘s Superman, because “he killed me.”

“I guess I have to root for Superman because he killed me, so I would hope that he would continue his killing spree and become like a serial killer Superman,” he added. “That’s a new take on Superman. We’d all be in a heap of trouble if Superman was a serial killer. He could just wipe us all out. But then he’d be lonely.”

“Isn’t he already lonely,” the interviewer asked, to which Shannon responded, “Well, we’re all lonely.

Although it seems Shannon could care less about the franchise now that his character has been killed off, the rest of the world rushed to theaters this weekend to see “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.” The blockbuster starring Ben Affleck as Batman and Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman grossed $170 million domestically, and $420 million globally.
