‘Better Call Saul’ Brings Fans Back to New Mexico in Behind-The-Scenes Teaser (Video)

Bob Odenkirk, Jonathan Banks and more ‘Breaking Bad’ stars return for the AMC prequel

Production on the “Breaking Bad” prequel “Better Call Saul” is up and running in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The AMC series is offering fans a behind-the-scenes look at the work being done on the new show in a video released Wednesday.

Bob Odenkirk is back to reprise his role as lawyer Saul Goodman, although prior to meeting Walter White, his character goes by the name of Jimmy McGill.

“I came along as a lucky actor,” Odenkirk says in the video about being cast in the role. “It’s like someone telling you, ‘I think you may have won the lottery.’”

Jonathan Banks, who played Mike Ehrmantraut on “Breaking Bad,” also returns for the new series.

“You kind of expect every once in awhile Aaron or Bryan or Dean or RJ to walk around the corner,” Banks says about his former co-stars who will not return for “Better Call Saul.” “Most of our crew is the same, fortunately.”

Actor Michael Mando joins the cast playing the character or Nacho.

“We have some really nice surprises that ‘Breaking Bad’ fans are just going to eat up,” Mando says about what’s to come in Season 1.

This latest look also coincides with the show’s launch of its new Facebook page, where fans can find exclusive images, videos, access to the cast and alerts.
