The untold story behind “Beverly Hills, 90210” is coming to Lifetime, following the success of its “Saved By the Bell” TV movie, the network announced Monday.

“The Unauthorized Beverly Hills, 90210 Story” will tell the roller coaster ride of the show’s first four seasons, highlighting the drama between cast members and producers on and off-set, as well as the series’ journey from several near-cancellations to its massive success.

A cultural phenomenon that left a lasting impression on a generation, “Beverly Hills, 90210” aired on Fox from Oct. 1990 to May 2000.

Executive produced by Peter M. Green and Howard Braunstein, “The Unauthorized Beverly Hills, 90210 Story” will be produced by Christian Bruyere, written by Jeff Roda and directed by Vanessa Parise.

Lifetime is also in production on an unauthorized “Full House” movie, from the same team that brought the unauthorized “Saved By the Bell” movie to life.

The “Full House” movie will premiere Aug. 22 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on Lifetime.
