Amazon Renews ‘Bosch’ for Season 3

Titus Welliver drama is based on bestselling Michael Connelly novels

“Bosch” is back. Or at least, it will be.

Amazon has renewed the one-hour crime drama, based on the bestselling Michael Connelly novels, for a third season.

Bosch stars Titus Welliver (“Lost”) as Detective Harry Bosch, Jamie Hector (“The Wire”) as Jerry Edgar, Amy Aquino (“Being Human”) as Lt. Grace Billets, Madison Lintz (“The Walking Dead”) as Maddie Bosch and Lance Reddick (“The Wire”) as Deputy Chief Irvin Irving.

The series was developed for television by Eric Overmyer (“Treme”). “Bosch” is executive produced by Overmyer, Connelly, Pieter Jan Brugge (“Heat”) and Fabrik Entertainment’s Henrik Bastin (“The Killing”).

Seasons 1 and 2 are currently available for Prime members in the U.S., U.K., Germany and Austria. In Japan, the first run is up, but the second season drops a week from today.

The sophomore season of “Bosch” premiered stateside less than a month ago.
