Bradley Cooper, Amy Poehler, Paul Rudd Camp It Up in First ‘Wet Hot American Summer’ Trailer (Video)

Netflix will debut all eight episodes on July 31

Netflix released a new trailer for “Wet Hot American Summer: The First Day of Camp” on Tuesday, parading a host of familiar faces alongside a couple new ones.

Bradley Cooper, Amy Poehler, Paul Rudd, Elizabeth Banks, Molly Shannon, Michael Ian Black, Judah Friedlander, Janeane Garofalo, Joe Lo Truglio, Ken Marino, Christopher Meloni, Marguerite Moreau, Zak Orth, David Hyde Pierce and Michael Showalter are all featured in old-school VHS-style footage that doubles as a retro commercial for Camp Firewood, the fictional summer camp set in Waterville, Maine.

As seen in the trailer, Camp Firewood is more than a summer camp; it’s a way of life that includes archery, water sports, breakdancing and cabin sex.

The first look, narrated monotonously by H. Jon Benjamin, teases Netflix’s eight-episode prequel to the big-screen comedy “Wet Hot American Summer,” released in 2001.

Netflix will release all eight episodes on July 31.
