Aaron Paul will be returning to TV, but next time he’ll be the boss.
The “Breaking Bad” actor has inked a first look deal with Sony Pictures Television, a studio representative told TheWrap.
The projects will be produced through his newly formed production company, Lucid Road Productions.
In making the deal, Paul is sticking with a company that he knows fairly well. Sony Pictures TV produced “Breaking Bad.” It also has an overall deal with “Breaking Bad” creator Vince Gilligan and a first look deal with co-star Bryan Cranston.
After five seasons of starring on AMC’s “Breaking Bad,” Paul went on to executive produce and lend his voice to Netflix’s “BoJack Horseman.” He is also serving as an executive producer on the film “Hellion.”
UTA and Leverage Management represent Paul.
Deadline first reported the deal.
