British Parliament is debating a petition calling for a ban on Donald Trump from the country.

The petition, which  has received more than 574,000 signatures, calls for prohibiting the GOP frontrunner from British soil for his “hate speech” following his proposed ban on Muslims on entering the United States.

Any petition that gets more than 100,000 signatures is considered by Parliament’s Petitions Committee.

The debate is unlikely to result in any such action as no vote will be held upon its conclusion.

The British Parliament will also mull a counter-petition that calls for Trump not to be banned from the country, which has received more than 40,000 signatures.

“Leave the decision making on appropriate responses to the Americans. (Let’s) mind our own business,” reads the petition, launched by David Gladwin.
