ABC released another teaser clip Thursday showing Bruce Jenner’s journey through the transitioning process which will be revealed during Friday’s exclusive primetime interview with Diane Sawyer.
“It’s going to be an emotional roller coaster, but I’ll get through it,” Jenner says.
The former Olympian turned E! reality star said he doesn’t want his transitioning process to hurt his family: “I can’t let myself hurt them.”
Jenner tells Sawyer he is eager to find out how the results of the changes he’s embarking on will end: “I want to know how this story ends–how does my story end?”
The two-hour special has been hotly anticipated despite very little information creeping out beforehand as well as minimal publicity on what Jenner will actually say.
A number of critics complain Jenner shouldn’t be airing out the transitioning process in public, while others support it, claiming it will inspire people who are struggling with the decisions, as well as the mental and emotional effects, it may have on individuals embarking on the journey themselves.
“Bruce Jenner: The Interview” airs Friday at 9 p.m. ET on ABC.
