Mobile game “Family Guy: The Quest for Stuff” just achieved some cool new guest voices. Bryan Cranston, Patrick Stewart, George Takei and Stan Lee will join Ron Perlman, Felicia Day and Nathan Fillion in an update themed and timed to this week’s San Diego Comic-Con.

In the Fox-TinyCo. game, Comic-Con International is hosting a new comic convention in the Griffin’s ficticious hometown of Quahog. When Stewie is transformed into an evil octopus monster, the town needs a new set of heroes to help fight back.

Enter the actors, who arrive just in time to train Peter, Lois, Chris and Quagmire to become real superheroes. Players will need to use their newfound superpowers to save the day and restore order to Quahog.

Participating guest stars were transformed into “Family Guy” characters by the team at 20th Century Fox Television, and had their original voices recorded for inclusion in the game.

“With a brand as big as ‘Family Guy,’ we have the opportunity to push the boundaries of what is possible in a mobile game,” said Andrew Green, head of Business Development and Operations at TinyCo. “Including celebrity guest stars is something we’ve wanted to do for a long time, and we’re incredibly excited to give players the opportunity to interact with some of their favorite stars in a brand new way.”

The Comic-Con update will be available to players on iPhone, iPad and iPod touch on July 24. It will be available on Google Play a week later, on July 31.

The real San Diego Comic-Con runs from July 24 to 27.
