BuzzFeed Names HuffPo Alum Greg Coleman as New President

Coleman’s credits also include stints at Yahoo! and AOL

BuzzFeed has found a new president to lord over its kingdom of 10 Most Adorable Times That This Kitten Was Adorable lists.

Greg Coleman, former president of Huffington Post and the ad tech company Criteo, will join BuzzFeed as president, the company said Tuesday.

Coleman, whose resume also includes stints as an executive at Yahoo! and AOL, will also hold a seat on the company’s Board of Directors. Based in New York, he will be tasked with the management and growth of all aspects of BuzzFeed.

“There is no greater story in the industry than of BuzzFeed and social advertising. It’s still early days in social and I’m so excited to join the talented team at BuzzFeed whose work has drastically changed the industry over the last three years. BuzzFeed has always been like family to me and I’m so thrilled I can now call it home,” said Coleman, who will begin at BuzzFeed this week.
