“The Great Gatsby” actor Callan McAauliffe has been set as the lead in ABC Family’s supernatural drama pilot “Beyond,” the network announced Tuesday.
McAuliffe plays Holden, a young man who has awakened from a 12-year coma only to discover that he now has supernatural abilities. Jordan Calloway, Dilan Gwyn, Romy Rosemont, Michael McGrady and Burkely Duffield round out the cast.
Production on “Beyond” is set to begin in Vancouver next week.
The supernatural drama was created, written and executive produced by Adam Nussdorf, with Tim Kring, Zak Kadison, Justin Levy and Brian Kavanaugh-Jones serving as executive producers.
