Candace Cameron Bure Reveals She’s Leaving ‘The View’ (Video)

“Fuller House” and flying coast-to-coast has slowly been killing her

Candace Cameron Bure is leaving “The View,” the co-host revealed on Thursday. She had just returned from hiatus for this morning’s episode.

The ABC chat show’s moderator Whoopi Goldberg threw the floor to Cameron Bure right at the beginning of “Hot Topics.”

“I’m very happy to be back, but … it’s a little bittersweet for me today, because I’m announcing that I will be leaving ‘The View,’” she said. “It wasn’t an easy decision, but before I started ‘The View,’ I had already had my commitments to ‘Fuller House’ and my work with the Hallmark Channel.”

“Because of the success of those, my commitments have become even greater with those shows,” Cameron Bure continued. “The commute of going West Coast to East Coast every single week for me has been tough on me and hard for my family, as well.”

“I want to make sure I am able to spend as much time with my children and invest in all the projects that I do to the fullest extent,” she said. “I thank everybody. Whoopi, Joy (Behar), I particularly want to thank you for welcoming me to this table.”

The “Full House” alum went on to thank everyone else by name. They returned the sentiment, and then moved on to “Hot Topics.” Fellow panelist Raven-Symoné also recently announced that she’s departing the late-morning talker for a spinoff of her own nostalgic show.
