After John Stamos announced on Monday that Netflix has a 13-episode “Full House” reboot in the works, fans of the show immediately posed the question of whether the Olsen Twins would return to play beloved Michelle Tanner.

Funny or Die, the comedy website founded by Will Ferrell and Gary Sanchez Productions, took a stab at what a texting conversation between Candace Cameron Bure (who played D.J. Tanner) and the Olsen twins would look like if she tried to persuade them to be part of the revival.

The writers make fun of Mary-Kate Olsen’s older fiance, Olivier Sarkozy, their alleged obsession with cigarettes, and their appearance on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show.” Even the show’s best one-liners (“have mercy,” and “how rude!”) make a cameo on the fake texting conversation.

According to Funny or Die, the Olsen twins are too busy with their fashion line, The Row, and won’t be returning to the Tanner household.
