Carly Fiorina Blasts ‘Liberal Media’ Double Standard Over Hillary Clinton Supporter Threatening to Strangle Her (Video)

Former Hewlett-Packard CEO says media is biased in response to Democratic frontrunner deflecting supporter saying he wants to strangle Fiorina

Carly Fiorina took on the media on Wednesday, telling Fox News host Bill O’Reilly there’s a clear double standard in the liberal media in response to Hillary Clinton not confronting a supporter who said he wanted to strangle her.

“If this had happened with a conservative candidate, the liberal media would be all over us to correct him, to apologize,” Fiorina said. “I do take umbrage with the clear double standard that exists in the media.”

The controversy revolved around a male Clinton supporter who was laid off by Fiorina at Hewlett-Packard. At a rally on Tuesday, he told Clinton he’d like to “strangle” Fiorina when the Republican candidate boasts about her time as CEO of the company.

“Every time I see her on TV, I want to reach through and strangle her,” he said. Clinton laughed off the comment, responding that she wouldn’t mess with him.

“News flash: The media is biased,” Fiorina told O’Reilly. “This isn’t anything new. And we just have to deal with it, unfortunately. So, it’s not going to rattle me.”
