Ratings: CBS Tops Tuesday’s Boring Battle of Broadcast Reruns

ABC bests NBC for runner-up slot

If you missed broadcast TV last night, you missed nothing.

CBS topped Tuesday’s boring battle of reruns, airing encores of “NCIS,” “NCIS: New Orleans” and “Limitless” (pictured above). ABC finished second with a pair of repeats and a look-back at “The Year: 2015,” ranking ahead of NBC’s reruns.

CBS was first in ratings with a 1.0 rating/3 share in the advertiser-coveted 18-49 demographic and in total viewers with an average of 7.8 million, according to preliminary numbers.

ABC was second in ratings with a 0.9/3 and in viewers with 3.7 million. Following repeats, “The Year: 2015” had a 1.0/3 and 3.9 million viewers in the 9 o’clock hour, and a 1.1/4 and 4.4 million viewers at 10.

NBC, Univision and Telemundo all tied for third in ratings, each with a 0.7 rating. NBC had a 3 share, the Spanish-language nets both had 2s. NBC was third in total viewers with 3.6 million viewers, Univision was fifth with 1.828 million viewers, Telemundo was sixth with 1.77 million.

Fox was sixth in ratings with a 0.6/2, but fourth in viewers with 1.831 million, airing only reruns.

The CW was seventh in ratings with a 0.3/1 and in viewers with 1.1 million, airing just repeats as well.
