CBS Orders Comedy Pilot ‘The Great Indoors’

“Tosh.0” producer to serve as showrunner

CBS has ordered half-hour comedy “The Great Indoors” to pilot.

The multi-camera sitcome follows an adventure reporter who must adapt to the times when he becomes the boss to a group of millennials in the digital department of the magazine.

“Tosh.0” producer Mike Gibbons will write and serve as the executive producer on the project from CBS Studios.

This pilot season, a new, modern take on “Nancy Drew” and hospital drama “Bunker Hill” are among CBS’ drama orders. On the comedy side, the network has picked up “Upper Middle Bogan” and “My Time/Your Time” to pilot.
