Chelsea Handler truly went out with a bang.

In addition to the sheer awesomeness of her epic curtain-closing musical number — which brought in dozens of Hollywood A-listers to sing farewell to the comedienne — the series-ender of “Chelsea Lately” scored just a hair over a million total viewers.

That number is good enough to be the E! show’s most-watched episode in two-and-a-half years.

In the advertiser-sought 18-49 demographic, “Lately” scored 489,000 viewers — the most by that metric in a year.

Socially speaking, the live finale ranked fifth Tuesday on the ad-supported cable chart — excluding sports — accounting for 29,500 tweets.
