If you’ve been eagerly awaiting the day that Chris Brown and Soulja Boy face off in the ring, bad news — the highly-anticipated boxing match between “Run It” singer Brown and the rapper is off.

Soulja Boy broke the news via Twitter on Monday, writing, “Chris Brown manager call my manager last night sand said the fight is off and he’s not signing contract.”

The rapper added, “Don’t ask me about the s— no more.”

“I aint gon say he a b—- or he shook or nothing,” the rapper continued. “I’m just gon say he don’t wanna fight. simple. I can’t force him to sign the s—,” Soulja Boy also offered.

While the rapper claimed to be personally reluctant to brand Brown a coward, he was happy to retweet comments such as “Breezy chickened” and “Smartest decision Chris made in five years.”

Brown has not yet addressed Soulja Boy’s statements on his own Twitter account.

The apparently now-abandoned fight began to take shape in January, after an upset Brown allegedly threatened Soulja Boy because the rapper liked an Instagram photo of Brown’s ex, Karrueche Tran.

Soulja Boy responded with a video posted to Twitter, in which he told Brown he would “beat the f— out of you.”

“”Chris Brown, you a b— n—. When I see you, I’ma beat the f— out you, n—. You think you hard because you hit Rihanna, n—? Because you beat Rihanna up,n—? Do that s– to me, p— ass.”

Later in the month, the rapper hit up Twitter to declare that he was “throwing” the fight, which according to Soulja Boy had been scheduled to take place in March.

“YALL KNOW WHAT IM THROWING THE FIGHT,” Soulja Boy tweeted at the time. “THESE N— TAKING TOO LONG F– THIS S– YOU NEED TICKETS HIT ME IM RUNNING THE SHOW.”
