We’re guessing that Chrissy Teigen isn’t regretting her decision to take a time-out from Twitter.

“Lip Sync Battle” personality Teigen, who joined Friday’s Twitter boycott in solidarity with Rose McGowan, found herself on the receiving end of some pretty abusive comments after calling for the boycott.

Shortly after calling for the boycott, Teigen shared some choice reactions to her call for the boycott.

“My mentions since posting #WomenBoycottTwitter 3 minutes ago,” Teigen wrote, adding the hashtag “#thisiswhy.”

“It’s alright, Twitter is a better place without you easily offended feminist bitches,” read one reply to the former Sports Illustrated model said.

“Alright b—- leave,” was another response.

And then there was, “Are you a fan of a good butt spanking?” Ouch, in every way.

Teigen, like a number of women on Thursday night, called for a boycott of the social media platform amid the growing Harvey Weinstein sexual harassment scandal, and the temporary suspension of actress and Weinstein accuser McGowan’s Twitter account Wednesday night, after she called out Weinstein.

Twitter later clarified that the suspension was triggered by McGowan posting a private phone number.

“We have been in touch with Ms. McGowan’s team. We want to explain that her account was temporarily locked because one of her Tweets included a private phone number, which violates of our Terms of Service,” a Twitter spokesperson told TheWrap. “The tweet was removed and her account has been unlocked. We will be clearer about these policies and decisions in the future.”

In a series of tweets Thursday night, Teigen announced her intention to boycott Twitter, and called on other women to join her.

“Ladies. Let’s do this. #WomenBoycottTwitter. Not because of hate but because I love this platform and know it can be better,” Teigen wrote. “Tomorrow. No secret timeline checking, no tweets, no clicking the bluebird square. They need to see we matter.”

She continued, “I’m boycotting for many reasons. To stand with the victims of sexual assault, online threats and abuse. And … to boycott the fact our demented, pussy grabbing president can tweet nuclear threats of war I can’t even see.
