Ratings: ‘Pretty Little Liars’ Grows With Season Premiere; ‘Twisted’ Off to Good Start

Pair of ABC Family shows perform well on Tuesday

"Pretty Little Liars" pulled some pretty nifty ratings for ABC Family on Tuesday night.

The Season 4 premiere posted double-digit gains over last summer's premiere in the advertiser-sought 18-49 demographic.

The show's 8 p.m. premiere drew 1.62 million viewers in the demo, up 15 percent on the Season 3 bow. It nabbed 2.97 million total viewers.

Meanwhile, the series launch of "Twisted" was ABC Family's most-watched drama premiere since the June 2011 bow of "The Nine Lives of Chloe King," drawing 1.61 million total viewers.

In the 18-49 demo, "Twisted" — which previewed its pilot episode out of the spring finale of "Pretty Little Liars" — drew 662,000 viewers.
