Comedienne Gina Brillon Sheds Light on the Differences Between Dog and Cat People (Exclusive Video)

NuvoTV’s “Gabriel Iglesias Presents: Gina Brillon: Pacficially Speaking” features a stand-up act from the rising comedienne and Iglesias’ protege

Gina Brillon knows her faults. The comedienne, who will be featured on her own comedy special called “Gabriel Iglesias Presents: Gina Brillon: Pacficially Speaking” on Saturday night on NuvoTV, acknowledges the selfish reasons she owns a dog.

In this exclusive clip from Saturday’s special (above), Brillon jumps into the classic dog vs cat debate. “We’re so needy,” she bemoans of dog people like herself. “We’re so needy, dog people. That’s why we get a dog that goes crazy when we leave for eight seconds, you come back in, your dog thinks it’s been forever. That’s like the best feeling in the world.”

However, cat people have a bit more confidence. “You guys can be gone for weeks, you come back in and your cat’s like ‘Oh. I’ll be on the window sill,’” Brillon quips.

Brillon became the first Latina comedian to win NBC’s annual Stand-Up for Diversity comedy showcase and was recently signed by WME. She most recently appeared with Iglesias in “The Fluffy Movie.”
