Ratings: ‘The Conners’ Drops Double Digits in Post-Midterms Return

NBC pulls away from the pack with “The Voice” results, “This Is Us”

ABC’s “The Conners” just dropped by double-digit percentages in TV ratings from its last episode, which aired two weeks ago due to the midterm elections.

More specifically, the “Roseanne” spinoff slipped 17 percent among adults 18-49 from its Oct. 30 original, and 10 percent among overall audience members.

NBC won Tuesday in ratings thanks to its “Voice” results show and another strong performance by “This Is Us.” CBS was actually No. 1 in terms of total viewers, however.

NBC was first in ratings with a 1.6 rating/7 share in the advertiser-coveted 18-49 demographic and second in total viewers with an average of 7.8 million, according to preliminary numbers. “The Voice” at 8 p.m. landed a 1.6/7 and 8.8 million viewers. “This Is Us” at 9 scored a 2.0/8 and 8.5 million viewers. At 10, “New Amsterdam” had a 1.1/5 and 6.1 million viewers.

CBS was second in ratings with a 1.1/5 and first in viewers with 9.7 million. “NCIS” at 8 posted a 1.4/6 and 12.3 million viewers. At 9, “FBI” got a 1.1/4 and 9.1 million viewers. “NCIS: New Orleans” at 10 received a 0.9/4 and 7.5 million viewers.

ABC was third in ratings with a 0.9/4 and in viewers with 4.4 million. “The Conners” at 8 had a 1.5/6 and 6.9 million viewers. “The Kids Are Alright” at 8:30 got a 1.0/4 and 4.7 million viewers. At 9, “Black-ish” received a 1.0/4 and 4.1 million viewers. “Splitting Up Together” at 9:30 closed out the comedy block with a 0.7/3 and 2.9 million viewers. “The Rookie” at 10 finished off actual primetime with a 0.7/3 and 4 million viewers.

Fox was fourth in ratings with a 0.6/3 and in viewers with 2.4 million. “The Gifted” at 8 got a 0.6/3 and 2 million viewers. At 9, “Lethal Weapon” had a 0.6/3 and 2.8 million viewers.

Univision and The CW tied for fifth in ratings, both with a 0.5/2. Univision was fifth in total viewers with 1.4 million, CW was sixth with 1.3 million.

For CW, “The Flash” at 8 had a 0.6/3 and 1.7 million viewers. “Black Lightning” at 9 got a 0.3/1 and 938,000 viewers.

Telemundo was seventh in ratings with a 0.4/2 and in viewers with 1.2 million.
