Conservative news network Newsmax TV is available as of Friday on ATT U-Verse for the first time, and has returned to DirecTV as part of the satellite platform’s news bundle.

“With our launch on DIRECTV and U-verse, Newsmax TV has the opportunity to serve more viewers,” Newsmax Media CEO Christopher Ruddy said in a statement.

Ruddy’s Newsmax TV is now available in nearly 40 million homes.

“Newsmax TV has a unique audience of Americans seeking news they can’t get from other major networks,” Ruddy said.

Ruddy recently said he thinks “very highly” of former Fox News star Bill O’Reilly — who was fired amid a series of sexual harassment allegations — according to Politico’s Hadas Gold, who tweeted that Ruddy would be “very open” to hiring him.

Newsmax featured an interview on Thursday with former U.S. House Majority leader Tom Delay, who applauded President Trump taking personal shots at MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” co-hosts.

“I am so glad he’s going after the media and going after them in a personal way, because they’re going after him in a personal way,” Delay told Newsmax’s Steve Malzberg.

The network offers 14 hours of live daily shows featuring its teams of hosts, anchors and contributors, including former Congressman J.D. Hayworth, Miranda Khan, John Bachman, Michael Reagan, and Alan Dershowitz. The channel recently signed some of the nation’s top syndicated radio hosts for television simulcasts, including Todd Schnitt, Wayne Allyn Root, Joe Pags, Joe Walsh and Howie Carr.

Ruddy is a longtime friend of President Trump.
