‘Cougar Town’ Co-Creator Bill Lawrence Signs Multi-Year Deal With Warner Bros. TV

The veteran producer’s upcoming shows include NBC’s “Undateable,” upcoming CBS series “Rush Hour”

Bill Lawrence is sticking with Warner Bros. Television.

The “Cougar Town” co-creator has entered a new multi-year deal with the studio, an individual with knowledge of the new agreement tells TheWrap.

For next season, CBS has already ordered “Rush Hour,” an adaptation of the 1998 action film with Jackie Chan and Chris Tucker that Lawrence co-wrote and is producing.

Lawrence, whose resume includes “Scrubs,” “Spin City,” and “Undateable,” which NBC has picked up for a third season.
