CW’s “The Flash” has added Plastique to its ranks.

Kelly Frye has been cast in the role of Bette Sans Souci aka Plastique, a show representative told TheWrap.

Bette was a bomb disposal expert in Iraq when the S.T.A.R. Labs meltdown surged through her and gave the ability to turn objects into explosives. Seen as a powerful war weapon, Bette is on the run from U.S. black ops when she finds an ally in The Flash (Grant Gustin).

A DC Comics villainess, Plastique is portrayed as a terrorist in the comics. She’s also a love interest to Captain Atom, a member of the Justice League.

Represented by Luber Roklin Entertainment, Frye most recently appeared on Fox’s failed Greg Kinnear pilot, “Rake.” She has also appeared on CBS’s “NCIS: Los Angeles” and ABC’s “Body of Proof.”
