(Spoiler alert: Don’t read on if you haven’t yet seen Monday’s episode of “Dancing With the Stars,” with the theme “Most Memorable Year.”)

It was inevitable, and on Monday night, it finally happened. The theme on “Dancing With the Stars” was “Most Memorable Year,” and there’s nothing more memorable than fans’ lasting memory of Alfonso Ribeiro.

It was time for him to bust out “The Carlton.”

The ridiculous dance took the nation by storm when Ribeiro debuted it during his run on NBC’s “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air” in the early 1990s. To make the moment even sweeter, Ribeiro and his professional partner Witney Carson earned perfect scores from the judges for their jazz routine incorporating the classic moves.

The news was not so good for actor Jonathan Bennett and his partner Allison Holker, who scored the lowest marks on the night with 24 out of 40 points. This was their first time below 30 points this season.

NASCAR driver Michael Waltrip again struggled as he and professional partner Emma Slater earned just 25 points. While he hasn’t had a great season on the dance floor, his supporters have kept him on the show.

The show bid farewell to fashion designer Betsey Johnson and her partner Tony Dovolani. They scored a 29 on the night, which wasn’t the worst, but their scores — along with a lack of support from America — signaled the end of the competition for the pair.

“Dancing With the Stars” airs Mondays at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
