Iggy Azalea Tells D’Angelo Russell ‘Thanks Bro’ for Filming Her Fiance, Nick Young, Talking About Other Women (Video)

A video surfaced a few days ago in which Los Angeles Lakers player Young alludes to being with other women

Los Angeles Lakers player D’Angelo Russell recorded a video of his teammate, Nick Young, appearing to talk about being with women other than his fiancée, Iggy Azalea, and the pop star has responded.

“Hmmm I see D’Angelo Russell is trending… I actually liked his film,” the rapper tweeted on Wednesday. “Thanks bro.”

The video, allegedly shot months ago, was leaked to celebrity gossip site Fameolous. At one point, Russell asks Young about a 19-year-old girl (Young is 30) and Amber Rose, to which Young responded, “No, she knows my girl.”

Azalea and Young got engaged last summer.

According to the Los Angeles Times, Russell and Young are friends but the video “could drive a wedge between them and cause more problems for a team with a 15-59 record.”

A source told the publication that teammates are “ticked off” at Russell, claiming it violates trust. Young did not appear to realize that he is being filmed.

According to ESPN, the tension among the Lakers team members led to the lackluster game in Salt Lake City on Monday, resulting in their worst loss in franchise history.

Lakers officials are aware of the video and the consequential tension, but are choosing not to intervene.

ESPN also reported that Russell sat alone at a breakfast meeting, and at one point, walked into the locker room and sat next to Lou Williams, who got up and walked away shortly after.

“It’s bad,” a source told ESPN. “It’s about as bad as it can get. There were trust issues already. Now there’s no trust.”

The Lakers or Young’s representatives have not yet responded to TheWrap’s request for comment.
