Let’s face it: Deadpool and Gaston from Disney’s “Beauty and the Beast” have a lot in common. They’re both ripped, love to talk about themselves, and enjoy prancing around. It’s therefore fitting that a group of Marvel fans have mashed the two together for a YouTube parody video.
Just as Gaston brags of his many talents in a tavern in the Disney classic, Deadpool boasts of his villain-slaying skills in raunchy fashion. But while the other revelers in Gaston’s tavern were more than happy to agree with the handsome braggart, the thugs in the seedy bar Deadpool finds himself in just want him dead.
Cue music, cartoonish slaughter and some reluctant assistance from Spider-Man, Psylocke, Rogue and Black Widow.
“No one’s slick as Deadpool! No one’s quick as Deadpool!” go the lyrics. “No one punches you right in the d— like Deadpool!”
The lines just get naughtier from there, culminating with Deadpool reminiscing about the unspeakable things he loved to do with a plush unicorn. And true to any Marvel movie, the fan short has a post-credits scene with a special surprise guest.
