Apple Inc. is near completion of the purchase of the music streaming and retailing site Lala.com.
Palo Alto, CA-based Lala allows consumers to store their personal music libraries on the company's servers and access them on a variety of devices, from computers to phones. Apple is home of the iTunes music store.
