The Guild has set up member meetings for Sept. 8 to discuss a possible agreement.

SAG seems to be on a roll to tie up its loose ends.

The Screen Actors Guild has scheduled several meetings that indicate it may be moving toward a videogames deal, Variety reports.

The meetings -- which members have been told will provide an update on the negotiations to replace 2005 deal that expired last year, are set for Sept. 8 -- according to the trade.

The Guild has not responded to TheWrap's request for comment.

SAG's contract covers 70 gaming companies. Its 2005 deal afforded members a 36 percent hike in the rate of $556.20 for each session of "videogame voiceover work."

Last year, AFTRA --which had a similar 2005 pact with the videogame makers -- extended its pact by one year, with a 3 percent increase in initial compensation.

Should the deal go through, it will be the sixth the Guild has completed since April. Other deals include feature-primetime, commercials, basic cable animation, TV animation and basic cable live-action. SAG ratified that last deal Wednesday with what Variety said was 93.7 percent support.
