Devon Graye has joined the cast of The CW’s “The Flash,” a spokesperson for the network told TheWrap.

The “Dexter” actor will guest star on Episode 17 of the Grant Gustin-helmed series, playing an anarchist named Axel bent on emulating a villain named The Trickster (Mark Hamill). The “Star Wars” veteran is incarcerated when the copycat Trickster terrorizes Central City, but eventually assists The Flash (Gustin) in trying to bring the young impostor down.

The Trickster is a member of the Rogues, a conglomeration of super villains who often wreak havoc upon The Flash and his city. Other Rogues appearing on “The Flash” this season include Heat Wave (Dominic Purcell) and Captain Cold (Wentworth Miller), who have both already made their debuts, and upcoming baddies The Pied Piper (Andy Mientus) and Weather Wizard (Liam McIntyre).

In addition to playing a teenage version of Michael C. Hall‘s Dexter on the Showtime series, Graye has had various minor television roles, including on FX’s “American Horror Story.” He’s currently filming an episode of CBS’s “The Mentalist.”

Framework Entertainment, Innovative Artists and Felker Toczek Gellman Suddelson represent Graye.

“The Flash” co-stars Candice Patton, Danielle Panabaker, Tom Cavanagh, Jesse L. Martin, Rick Cosnett and Carlos Valdes. Greg Berlanti, Andrew Kreisberg and Geoff Johns are executive producers on the series, adapted from the popular DC Comic. As TheWrap previously reported, The CW picked up all eight of its Fall dramas on Sunday, which meant giving “The Flash” a Season 2.

ComicBook.com first reported the casting news.
