Dick Clark Production Names Amy Thurlow Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer

Amy Thurlow has been named Dick Clark Production’s newest Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer.

Mike Mahan, the company’s president, announced the news  Monday in an enthusiastic statement.

“Amy is one of the most talented executives in the business with an unparalleled business acumen when it comes to leading, strategizing and growing a company. She will play a vital management role as dick clark productions expands our global television footprint,” said Mahan.

“I have known Amy for many years and it is a tremendous pleasure to have her join the dick clark productions team.”

The company, which specializes in live event programming for television, is behind the production of many top award shows and holiday spectaculars, including the American Music Awards, Golden Globe Awards and Dick Clark‘s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest. The company is also instrumental in producing Fox’s popular competitive dance show “So You Think You Can Dance.”

Thurlow, who will work out of DCP’s Santa Monica office and will report directly to Mahan, most recently served as Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President of Sales Strategy for TV Guide Network. Before that she was a finance executive with NBC Universal.
